Job summary

The Supply Register is recruiting Primary Teaching Assistants in Tamworth for day-to-day, short-term and long-term opportunities starting September 2026. Roles include supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, working with teachers to deliver engaging lessons and providing one-to-one or small group support.

DBS and references will apply. Competitive daily pay of £82.62–£94.41, dependent on experience, with flexible schedules and weekly PAYE payments.

Qualifications

• Experience with children, ideally in a school or educational setting.
• A proactive and adaptable approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
• Working alongside class teahers to deliver engaging learning experiences.
• Providing one-to-one and small group support where required.
• Encouraging pupils confidence, engagement and development.
• Creating a positive, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
