Job summary

Heath Hayes Primary Academy is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support learning and help every child access the curriculum within a safe, welcoming environment. You will work with the class teacher to provide excellent learning opportunities and adapt activities to meet diverse needs.

There is a focus on delivering whole-class learning while also supporting targeted 1:1 or small group tasks to raise standards and foster a love of learning.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children in a learning environment.
• Ability to adapt and extend learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
• Committed to creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive classroom.

Responsibilities

• Provide class support and help deliver learning activities in partnership with the class teacher.
• Conduct structured small group or 1:1 activities to ensure curriculum access and progress.
• Contribute to raising standards and developing pupils’ love of learning.
