Job summary

Citpatiala is seeking a passionate Primary Teacher to join a welcoming school in the BD15 area of Bradford on a temporary, day-to-day basis. The role covers KS1 or KS2 depending on experience and school requirements, with enhanced DBS preferred.

The post involves planning and delivering lessons across the primary curriculum, assessing pupil progress, and collaborating with teaching staff to support learners and ensure safeguarding standards are met.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching in KS1 and/or KS2.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum.
• Teach KS1 or KS2 according to experience and school needs.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback.
• Adapt lessons for diverse learning needs and abilities.
• Maintain positive behaviour and inclusive learning environments.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and staff to support learners.
• Maintain pupil records and participate in school activities.
