Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting qualified Primary Teachers for regular supply work across Ilkeston and the surrounding DE7 region. We are seeking dependable, enthusiastic professionals who enjoy working across different classrooms, fostering positive relationships, and supporting children to achieve their potential.

Qualifications

• Must have QTS and recent primary teaching experience.
• Experience delivering lessons across Key Stage 1/2.
• Strong classroom management and safeguarding knowledge.
• Ability to adapt activities for diverse abilities and learning needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons following the school’s planning.
• Adapt activities to accommodate varying abilities and learning needs.
• Create a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
• Adhere to school behaviour policies and maintain consistent routines.
• Assess pupil understanding and provide clear handover notes.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and school staff.
• Follow safeguarding policies and procedures diligently.
