Job summary

Abbey Multi Academy Trust seeks enthusiastic Primary Teachers to join our pool for day-to-day and long-term opportunities across our family of schools in Leeds. You may teach across a range of year groups, delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils to achieve excellent outcomes.

Successful candidates will have QTS and experience in primary settings, with excellent communication and behaviour management skills. We welcome applicants from both experienced teachers and ECTs.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
• Experience teaching in a primary school setting.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible, proactive and professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching across the primary curriculum.
• Plan and deliver lessons for long-term placements or provide pre-prepared plans for daily cover.
• Create a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning in line with policies.
• Assess, monitor and provide feedback on pupil progress; collaborate with colleagues.
