Job summary

Axcis Education Recruitment is seeking a Primary Supply Teacher for a mainstream primary school in West Molesey. You will cover classes across KS1 and KS2, following plans and school systems, with a focus on high-quality teaching and inclusive practice.

The role offers ongoing supply, ASAP start, and consistent school hours Monday to Friday during term time. Google Classroom experience is desirable and support from a specialist recruitment team is provided.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Previous experience teaching within a UK primary school.
• Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum.
• Confident classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching across different year groups.
• Flexibility to support both KS1 and KS2 is desirable.
• Calm, adaptable and approachable manner.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Confidence using Google Classroom, or willingness to learn.
• Reliable and professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons across mainstream primary classes.
• Provide cover across different year groups as required.
• Be flexible to work with both KS1 and KS2 pupils.
• Follow existing lesson plans and school systems.
• Adapt teaching to suit different classes and individual learning needs.
• Establish positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Maintain strong classroom and behaviour management.
• Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and other school staff.
• Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
• Ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment.
