Job summary

Connex Education is partnering with primary schools across Darlington and surrounding areas to recruit experienced Teaching Assistants. You will be supporting the class teacher with behaviour management, providing additional instruction, and assisting with classroom activities.

You should be able to work closely with pupils to reinforce learning, offer one-on-one support, and ensuring a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Aged 18 and over.
• C or above in Maths and English GCSE or equivalent.
• DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher with lesson delivery and managing classroom behaviour.
• Provide individual or small group support to pupils.
• Assist in preparing learning materials and monitoring pupil progress.

Education
