Job summary

Shireland Collegiate Academy Trust is seeking a dedicated Class teacher to support the development of primary pupils across our West Midlands network. The post is fixed term until 31st August 2028 and aligns with the School Teachers' Pay and Conditions Document.

Qualifications

• Excellent classroom practitioner.
• Up-to-date knowledge of legislation and safeguarding guidance.
• Ability to extract, analyse and evaluate issues from data for improvement.
• Strong understanding of teaching and learning.

Responsibilities

• Identify educational aims and objectives for the class and create medium and short term plans.
• Prepare and teach a weekly timetable of lessons and activities matched to pupil ages and abilities.
• Ensure classroom practice supports school and Trust policies.
• Deliver the curriculum in an engaging and stimulating way to aid progression.
