Job summary

eNL is seeking a Paralegal to join its Gloucestershire team, handling Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence matters. The role offers a mixed workload and exposure to MOJ portal processes, with progression of files and drafting of key documents.

You will need excellent organisational and communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to manage multiple systems while meeting deadlines. Salary £25-30k DOE.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, negotiation and client relationship skills.
• Excellent organisation and time management.
• Proactive team player who can work independently.
• High attention to detail with analytical approach.
• Knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Handle new enquiries, assess case merits and open files.
• Advise clients on personal injury matters and maintain strong relationships.
• Manage PI and clinical negligence cases, including records, expert instructions, counsel and CFA documentation.
• Progress claims through the MOJ portal, including settlement packs and Stage 3 proceedings.
• Draft key legal documents: claim forms, particulars of claim, schedules of loss, witness statements and interim applications.
• Arrange and attend conferences with clients, experts and counsel.
• Conduct legal research and manage After the Event (ATE) insurance applications.
• Maintain up-to-date files and manage diaries, court dates and limitations.
• Support fee earners with day-to-day management of caseloads.
