Job summary

Vision for Education are partnering with a successful secondary school in Burnley, Lancashire to recruit a dedicated Teacher of PE. You will deliver engaging PE lessons across KS3 and KS4 and foster participation in a wide range of sporting activities.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching PE in a secondary school.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities.
• Passion for sport, physical education and student wellbeing.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Promote healthy lifestyles and encourage participation in sporting activities.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
• Motivate and engage students of all abilities in PE.
