Job summary

Choice Teachers are recruiting a PE Teacher with PSHE teaching experience for a secondary school in Harrow. The role is full-time and starts after October Half Term 2026, with a timetable of about 75% PE and 25% PSHE.

You will deliver practical PE lessons across the secondary age range, teach various sports, deliver PSHE, plan and assess lessons, manage behaviour, and work with the PE department. A DBS Update Service is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching PE.
• Experience delivering PSHE.

Responsibilities

• Teach approximately 75% PE and 25% PSHE across the secondary age range.
• Deliver engaging and practical PE lessons across a variety of sports.
• Deliver structured PSHE lessons as part of the timetable.
• Plan, prepare and assess lessons where required.
• Encourage participation and positive attitudes towards physical activity.
• Maintain strong classroom and behaviour management.
• Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment during practical PE lessons.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues within the PE department.
