Job summary

Toad Hall Nursery Group in Hitchin is seeking a dedicated Nursery Nurse to join our caring team supporting children from 3 months to pre-school age. The role offers a warm, inclusive environment where you’ll contribute energy, creativity and compassion daily.

The position is full-time (40 hours weekly) with options for 2-3 day shares or part-time 20 hours, and a range of benefits, including staff discounts and recognition schemes. An NVQ Level 3 in Childcare is required.

Qualifications

• Suitable qualifications: an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent.
• Knowledge of the EYFS, and ability to refer to the EYFS Framework when planning activities
• Awareness of planning, observation and keeping records when caring for nursery aged children
• Genuine enthusiasm for working with children and meeting their needs
• A satisfactory Enhanced DBS check
