Job summary

Pro-Force Recruitment is seeking a Multi-Skilled Operative for a busy packhouse in Dartford. You will move product and equipment safely through the warehouse, including ripening and production areas, following defined processes and safety protocols.

Duties include using MHE, loading/unloading, receipt/movement of product in D365, supplying production, and assembling customer orders. Ongoing role with potential temp-to-perm for the right candidate; weekend work and shift rates apply.

Qualifications

• Experience working within a warehouse or packing environment.
• Must have Proof of Right to Work
• Working 5 days over 7 including weekends
• Overtime paid after 45 Hours worked
• Flexible approach to work.
• Good numeracy and attention to detail.
• Positive attitude to work.
• Good understanding of English.
• Ability to work with other people.

Responsibilities

• Carry out safe and efficient movement of product and equipment throughout the warehouse, ripening and production areas.
• Co-operate with Managers and Supervisors on Health & Safety matters.
• Use MHE as required.
• Load/unload storage areas and ripening rooms.
• Unload and load vehicles following Health & Safety protocols.
• Receipt, movement and dispatch of product using Microsoft D365.
• Ensure product and equipment are supplied to production efficiently.
• Assemble product for customer orders.
• Strap and move stock pallets to designated areas.
• Replenish packaging and keep area clean and tidy.
