Job summary

BJF Group, a leading UK multi-discipline Main Contractor, seeks a proactive Mechanical Project Manager to lead projects from inception through completion. You will oversee the M&E division, ensure site procedures, safety standards, and quality specifications, and drive revenue growth by delivering on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• NVQ/OND/HND/DEGREE Building Services/Professional/Mechanical or equivalent.
• Project management qualification or proven track history.
• IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent.
• NEBOSH National General Certificate or equivalent.
• NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent.
• Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS).
• CSCS Card Holder.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership across the full project lifecycle and deliver contractual commitments on secured projects.
• Exploit opportunities for strategic development to increase turnover and profitability.
• Deliver projects to completion on time and within budget, exceeding client expectations where possible.
• Identify and manage risks across technical, health, safety, and commercial areas.
• Ensure safe working conditions and compliance with health and safety policies, including CDM.
• Build strong relationships with sub-contractors to meet quality and cost targets.
• Develop project financial plans and manage invoices and cash flow.
• Control projects within budget to maximise profit and secure payments.
