Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking a committed and inspiring Teacher of Mathematics for secondary schools across Farnborough. The role covers KS3 and KS4, with responsibilities to plan and deliver maths lessons and support exam preparation.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification is required.
• Experience teaching KS3/KS4 Mathematics is preferred.
• Ability to plan sequenced Maths curricula and exams.
• Commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.

Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering Mathematics across KS3 and KS4.
• Teaching GCSE Foundation and Higher Tier.
• Modelling mathematical methods clearly.
• Developing students’ fluency, reasoning and resilience.
• Using questioning and assessment to identify knowledge gaps.
• Providing constructive feedback and targeted intervention.
• Supporting mixed-ability and SEND learners.
• Maintaining a calm and purposeful classroom.
• Working collaboratively within the Mathematics department.
