Job summary

The Supply Register is recruiting Secondary Maths Teachers to join our network in the Derby area, with immediate opportunities for day to day supply and long-term roles. We partner with Two Counties Trust and LEAD Academy Trust to offer a range of positions from day-to-day supply to long-term teaching roles.

We are looking for teachers who hold QTS or are a recent ECT, can deliver engaging lessons, and demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management.

Qualifications

• Hold QTS or are a recent ECT.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge and understanding of the mathematics curriculum.
• Can deliver engaging and effective lessons.
• Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Maintain high expectations for pupils and their own teaching practice.
• Work collaboratively to support progress and raise standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mathematics lessons across key stages as required.
• Maintain effective classroom management to support pupil engagement.
• Assess and track pupil progress to inform planning and support.
• Collaborate with colleagues and leaders to raise standards.
