Job summary

Class Act is urgently recruiting a Maths Teacher for daily supply across Wallingford and surrounding areas. You will deliver engaging, differentiated maths lessons for KS3–KS4, adapting to varied school environments while maintaining a positive learning atmosphere.

The ideal candidate holds QTS or an equivalent qualification and has secondary maths teaching experience. You will work both independently and as part of a team, upholding safeguarding standards and school policies.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Has experience teaching maths in secondary schools.
• Demonstrates strong classroom management and adaptability.
• Shows enthusiasm for working in diverse educational settings.
• Works well independently and as part of a team as a Maths Teacher.
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and differentiated maths lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Adapt quickly to different classroom environments and school routines.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
• Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Support pupils in their learning and encourage participation.
• Uphold school policies and safeguarding procedures.
