Job summary

Class Act is recruiting Maths Teachers for flexible supply work across multiple secondary schools. You will deliver pre-planned Maths lessons across Key Stage 3 and, where required, Key Stage 4, while maintaining a safe and well-managed classroom environment.

Ideal candidates hold Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent teaching qualification, have experience teaching Maths in secondary settings, and are adaptable to different school environments.

Duties as Maths Teacher:

• Deliver pre-planned Maths lessons confidently across Key Stage 3 and, where required, Key Stage 4
• Maintain a positive, safe, and well-managed classroom environment
• Follow school behaviour policies, routines, and safeguarding procedures
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of pupils with different abilities
• Support pupils’ understanding and progress in Maths
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure continuity of learning
• Engage pupils and keep them focused throughout the school day
• Provide clear feedback and handover notes for permanent staff
• Represent Class Act professionally while working as a Maths Teacher
