Nottingham University Hospitals NHS seeks an experienced Consultant in Allergy to deliver clinical services for diagnosing and managing allergic diseases, including food, drug, and venom allergies, across inpatient and outpatient settings. You will work within the MDT, reviewing patients on wards and collaborating with colleagues in primary care and other Trusts.

The role includes teaching, audits, and participation in CPD, with expectations to contribute to service development and research

Qualificações

• GMC registration and MRCP/MRCPath or equivalent are essential.
• Experience in allergy including food, drug and venom allergy is required.
• Able to communicate effectively with patients, carers and the wider MDT.

Responsabilidades

• Participation in clinical service provision for allergic disease.
• Cover for colleagues' annual leave and authorised absences.
• Supervision/management of junior medical staff and MDT members.
• Teaching, examination and accreditation duties locally and nationally.
• Participate in medical audit and clinical governance processes.
• Involvement in research as appropriate to the job plan.
• Willingness to undertake additional professional responsibilities at local, regional or national levels.
• Adhere to the Trust's Equal Opportunities Policy.
