Job summary

Cawood, within NRM of the UK’s leading agronomic and environmental testing group, is seeking a laboratory operative to support day-to-day operations in a high-volume environment. You will focus on accurate sample preparation, data transcription, and adherence to SOPs and safety policies.

The role emphasizes initiative, independence, and teamwork, with opportunities to train and onboarding support as part of a flexible, safety-conscious workplace within the Cawood Agriculture division.

Responsibilities

• Sort/prepare/analyse client samples accurately as per the relevant SOP, and in a timely manner.
• Transcribe correctly data into the LIM’s system.
• Prepare chemical standards and reagents in line with SOP and Health & Safety procedures.
• Maintain safety and ensure accidents are reported to managers as required.
