Job summary

Aspire People are recruiting for a qualified and experienced English Teacher to provide full-time sickness cover at a well-established Secondary School in the TF11 area. You will deliver engaging English lessons across the Secondary age range, with emphasis on KS4, while upholding high standards of behaviour and progress.

The role requires a confident, reliable educator with a passion for teaching, excellent classroom management, and the ability to settle quickly into a new school environment.

Qualifications

• Be a qualified English Teacher with relevant teaching experience.
• Proven experience teaching KS4 English.
• Confident, enthusiastic and passionate about education.
• Excellent classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering engaging and challenging English lessons.
• Teaching confidently across the Secondary age range, including KS4.
• Maintaining high expectations of behaviour, achievement and progress.
