Job summary

Ackerman Pierce Ltd is seeking a dedicated Humanities Teacher to join a UK secondary school and deliver KS3 and KS4 lessons across History, Geography and Religious Education. You will plan engaging lessons, assess progress, and prepare pupils for GCSE exams.

The successful candidate will hold QTS, have recent UK secondary teaching experience, and be able to motivate students of varying abilities while maintaining high standards of classroom management and inclusive practice.

Qualifications

• QTS is required.
• Recent UK secondary school teaching experience.
• Experience teaching Humanities at KS3 and KS4.
• Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Humanities lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
• Teach History, Geography or Religious Education depending on specialism.
• Prepare students for GCSE examinations and monitor progress.
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain positive classroom behaviour and an inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support student achievement.
