Job summary

Teach South Kent seeks Humanities Teacher – Supply in Hastings and surrounding areas. Roles include day-to-day cover, regular supply and longer-term placements with flexibility to choose work type.

Responsibilities include teaching History, Geography, RE or other Humanities to KS3/KS4, delivering engaging lessons, and assessing progress. QTS or relevant experience preferred, with a passion for the subject and ability to motivate students.

• Secondary Humanities teaching experience
• Strong subject knowledge
• Good classroom management
• Passion for the subject

• Flexible and professional approach

Responsibilities

• Teach History, Geography, RE or other Humanities subjects
• Cover KS3/KS4 as required
• Deliver engaging and informative lessons
• Teach towards GCSE where appropriate
• Follow existing schemes of work
• Plan lessons for longer-term roles
• Assess student progress
• Manage classroom behaviour
• Support students of varying abilities
