Oasis Academy Long Cross is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to provide behaviour and pastoral support, starting 1 January 2027. The role is 32.5 hours per week, term-time only, at Oasis Academy Long Cross, a two-form entry school with an onsite Health Centre and dedicated support staff.

The successful candidate will join a passionate team focused on closing gaps and delivering inclusive education.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or equivalent
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to maintain high expectations and support behaviour and pastoral needs
• Knowledge of trauma-informed practice and behaviour management strategies
