Job summary

Fitness First Jersey is seeking a Level 2 Gym Instructor to deliver high-energy classes and engage members on a daily basis. You will welcome guests, run multiple classes each week, and promote signature products while ensuring a safe, clean gym environment.

You will handle feedback and support retention initiatives across the club. The role requires a Level 2 qualification with ability to lead sessions on time and with enthusiasm, contributing to excellent member experiences and club

Qualifications

• Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification.
• Ability to deliver top-notch class sessions on time with high energy.
• Proactive in supporting retention and member engagement.

Responsibilities

• Welcome & connect with members and guests, making it personal and fast.
• Deliver Fitness First classes and signature products with confidence.
• Handle feedback, queries, and complaints and elevate where needed.
• Support the club day-to-day: tours, sales support, gym-floor engagement, and team cover as required.
• Use the Members First system to stay proactive with retention and outreach to grow memberships.
• Keep the gym safe and spotless: studios, gym floors, wet areas, changing rooms, equipment.
• Complete daily health & safety checks and record everything accurately.
• Key holder duties: follow opening/closing procedures on rota.
• Attend training and learn signature products.
