Job summary

Places Leisure, part of Places for People, is seeking a proactive Fitness Instructor to motivate and support customers in a lively gym environment. You will provide fitness guidance, lead inductions, and help clients reach their goals with tailored programmes and possible Personal Training sessions.

The role offers ongoing training and aims to advance CIMSPA qualifications, with a strong emphasis on customer service and teamwork within a safe, welcoming facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum CIMSPA Affiliate/Reps Level 2 required.
• Desirable CIMSPA Practitioner/Reps Level 3.
• Company supports continuous learning and development to achieve further CIMSPA qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Inspire others to work together and deliver their best in a lively environment.
• Provide suitable health and fitness advice matching each customer’s goals.
• Carry out inductions and ensure customers use equipment safely and correctly.
• Set and monitor programmes; offer Personal Training sessions and grow PT client base.
• Work with the team to keep facilities clean and safe and adhere to procedures.
