Job summary

Morgan Hunt Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Childcare Lecturer to join a well-established college in West Yorkshire on a full-time temporary contract. You will deliver Level 1 and Level 2 Childcare lessons, plan, assess and monitor progress, and maintain records to support student achievement.

The role requires a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent) and a relevant degree, with strong classroom management and communication skills to engage

Qualifications

• Teaching qualification such as PGCE, Cert Ed or DTLLS.
• Experience teaching Level 1 & 2 Childcare in FE.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Level 1 & 2 Childcare lessons to students of varying abilities.
• Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with awarding body requirements.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress and assessments.
• Contribute to a positive learning environment that motivates and supports learners to achieve their potential.
