Job summary

voco Grand Central Glasgow is seeking a reliable Back of House Porter to join our Conference & Events team on a full-time, permanent basis. You’ll help set up event spaces, move furniture and equipment, and support events to ensure a superb guest experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in conference & events or hospitality.
• Physically fit with the ability to move furniture and equipment.
• Strong team player with good communication and a proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Set up and breakdown conference & events spaces and equipment.
• Move and position furniture safely for events.
• Ensure spaces are clean and ready on time for events and attendees.
• Support room changes and turnover of spaces during events.
• Work with events teams to ensure smooth delivery of events.
