Job summary

KM Recruitment is seeking an English Tutor/Functional Skills English to work on a centre-based role. You will deliver Functional Skills English within a classroom environment and support learners to achieve their qualifications.

The role requires a recognised teaching qualification at Level 3 or above, strong presentation and communication skills, and the ability to tailor delivery to learner needs. Salary up to £40,000, full-time permanent position.

Qualifications

• Must have experience delivering Functional Skills English.
• Must hold a recognised Teaching qualification at Level 3 or above.
• Confident to deliver classroom and workshop-based training to small groups.
• Hold own English qualification at Level 3 or equivalent.
• Demonstrate energy and passion to motivate and train clients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Functional Skills / Higher Level English, within a classroom environment.
• Promote Equality and Diversity, Safeguarding and Health and Safety.
• Utiliseexisting delivery resources, as well as preparing own when required.
• Deliver engaging training sessions and provide ongoing IAG to learners.
• The successful candidate will be flexible with their delivery methods, providing differentiation and be able to adapt quickly to learners needs.
• Assist learners in identifying the skills required to progress towards their career aspirations.
• The successful candidate must be engaging and able to demonstrate energy and passion to motivate / train clients.
