Job summary

KM Recruitment is seeking an English Tutor to deliver Functional Skills English up to Level 2 in a centre-based Hemel Hempstead setting. The role is full-time and permanent, offering a_salary up to £35,000_ and a structured environment for learner development.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 5 Teaching qualification and experience delivering Functional Skills English, with excellent presentation and communication skills, and the ability to motivate learners in small groups.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 5 Teaching qualification.
• Must have experience delivering Functional Skills English.
• Own English qualification at Level 3 or equivalent.
• Confidence to deliver classroom and workshop based training to small groups.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Demonstrate confidence, tenacity and ability to work on own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Functional Skills English up to L2 in a classroom environment.
• Promote Equality and Diversity, Safeguarding and Health and Safety.
• Utilise existing resources and prepare own when required.
• Deliver engaging training sessions and provide ongoing information, advice and guidance to learners.
• Be flexible with delivery methods and adapt to learners needs.
• Assist learners in identifying skills to progress towards career aspirations.
