Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is seeking a committed English Teacher to cover a maternity vacancy at a student-centred secondary academy in Hertford. The role starts ASAP and offers MPS/UPS depending on experience.

You will teach English across KS3 and KS4 and contribute to high standards of literacy and analytical writing. You will deliver English Language and Literature, develop reading comprehension, provide clear learning objectives, maintain accurate progress records and give constructive feedback

Qualifications

• Holds QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Strong English subject knowledge.
• Capable of delivering engaging lessons with clear objectives.
• Able to differentiate for varied abilities.
• Available to start at short notice.
