About Early Years Ltd. Halifax is seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join the Reception team on a full-time basis. The role supports children in Reception with the class teacher to create a safe, stimulating and nurturing learning environment.

The ideal candidate will have Early Years experience in a private nursery or school, a relevant qualification, and excellent communication and teamwork skills. Paediatric First Aid is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in Early Years in a private nursery or school setting.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Caring, patient and nurturing approach.

Responsibilities

• Support children's learning across the Early Years curriculum in Reception.
• Assist with both adult-led and child-initiated activities.
• Encourage independence, confidence and social development.
• Create a warm, engaging and inclusive classroom environment.
• Work with the class teacher to support individual children's needs.
