Oldham Music Service is seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Music Teacher to deliver our growing program for children aged 0-5 across Oldham. The role focuses on engaging, inclusive music experiences and building early communication and language skills through song and play.

You don’t need a music degree; strong musicality and EYFS awareness are essential to inspire learning in schools, nurseries and family settings.

Qualifications

• Significant experience of working with children aged 0-5.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS Framework.
• Confident singer who enjoys making music with young children.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and inclusive music sessions for children aged 0-5 in schools, nurseries and community settings.
• Lead Oldham Music Service's Musical Beginnings sessions.
• Deliver Tune-in to Talking in schools and early years settings.
• Plan and deliver high-quality sessions aligned with EYFS.
• Use singing, movement, musical play and storytelling to support learning and development.
• Monitor pupils’ engagement and progress and report in a concise format.
