Job summary

Barnardo's is seeking an Early Years and Children's Practitioner in Nuneaton to support families through Stay & Play, groups, and one-to-one work. You will deliver activities for children aged 0-4 and primary school age, often in outreach settings across the Nuneaton and North Warwickshire area.

The role requires EYFS knowledge, a childcare qualification to at least level 2 (level 3 desirable), strong communication with parents, and IT skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the EYFS framework and delivery of early years activities.
• Experience working with young children and their parents/carers.
• Ability to communicate clearly with parents, carers and professionals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver stay & plays, holiday playschemes or afterschool activities for children and families.
• Provide one-to-one or group support and activities as needed.
• Travel to different locations within Nuneaton and North Warwickshire for outreach work.
• Deliver Baby Massage or Chatter Matters courses if qualified.
