Job summary

Woodmansterne School & Sixth Form in London is seeking an exceptional Early Years Educator (EYE) to join our all-through community. The role requires a Level 3 EY Educator qualification, EYFS experience, teamwork, SEND experience, and a commitment to safeguarding children.

We offer a supportive leadership team, opportunities for professional development, and a fixed-term contract commencing January 2027 (or sooner from November 2026).

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification.
• Experience of working in the EYFS, preferably in a school setting.
• Excellent skills in working constructively as part of a team, understanding classroom roles and responsibilities and your own position within these.
• Experience of working with children with diverse needs, including SEND.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development; attendance on courses, INSET, personal study.
• English and maths qualifications to at least GCSE grade C (level 4)
• Computer literacy: ability to carry out a variety of general ICT tasks e.g. upload photographs;
• Demonstrable commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people,and an up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance in relation to safeguarding;
• A Paediatric first aid certificate or be willing to undertake this prior to appointment.
