Job summary

Chattertons Solicitors & Wealth Management in Lincoln is seeking a Development Legal Assistant to join the Commercial Property & Agriculture Team. The role requires a Law degree or equivalent experience; full training will be provided, and a genuine interest in commercial property and agriculture is essential.

The successful candidate will be motivated, resilient, and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines while delivering excellent client care.

Qualifications

• Law degree or equivalent work‑based experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Client, agent and solicitor liaison and assisting with enquiries.
• Freehold conditional acquisitions and disposals.
• Drafting simple transfers as allocated by supervisor.
• Due diligence including client ID checks and risk assessments.
• Preparing Reports on Title and Reports on Contract with supervisor input.
• Exchanges and completions including related statements and registrations.
