Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting Cover Supervisors to support our network of Leeds secondary schools. The role is day-to-day, long-term or temporary, with no planning required, but strong classroom management and communication are essential.

You will manage classes for ages 11–16+, across departments, with PAYE payment and reliable onboarding. On-site hours, temporary contract, salary £100–£120 per day.

Qualifications

• Be confident in their ability to manage a class of students within the age range 11 to 16+.
• Strong behaviour management skills are required.
• Flexible to work throughout the school within different departments and with different age ranges daily.

Responsibilities

• Support schools on a day-to-day, long-term or permanent basis.
• No planning and preparation required; focus on classroom presence and management.
• Engage and supervise students to maintain a productive learning environment.
