Amarval Partners Ltd is seeking a reliable Cover Supervisor to join our education team. You will supervise classes, deliver pre-set work, manage behaviour, support learning and report progress to the regular teacher.

The role is suited to graduates or experienced supervisors who enjoy working with young people and can adapt to different subjects and age groups throughout the day. A proactive attitude and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Confidence to lead a room of 30+ students
• Strong verbal communication to explain tasks and de-escalate situations
• Resilience and calmness when handling challenging behaviour
• Flexibility to adapt to different subjects and age groups throughout the day

Responsibilities

• Supervise Classes: Deliver pre-set work left by the teacher to students across various subjects
• Behaviour Management: Maintain a calm and focused classroom environment using the school’s behaviour policy
• Support Learning: Answer student questions and provide guidance to help them complete tasks
• Reporting: Take registers and provide brief feedback to the regular teacher on student progress and any issues
