Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people is desirable
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to engage, motivate, and inspire students
• Confidence working independently and managing groups of students
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Responsibilities

• Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff
• Deliver pre-planned lessons and ensure students remain engaged with their learning
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's policies and expectations
• Support students with their learning and respond to questions where appropriate
• Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding student progress, behaviour, and lesson outcomes
