Job summary
Exclusive Education is seeking a proactive Cover Supervisor to support KS3 and KS4 across a busy school in Liverpool. You will supervise lessons, support teachers, and foster a safe, engaging learning environment.
The role is full-time, five days a week with flexibility to 4 days; DBS (update service) required; recent experience with children; eligibility to work in the UK; references. Competitive daily rate £95-£120.
Qualifications
- Previous Cover Supervisor experience delivering KS3/KS4 lessons.
- Relevant experience in TA or Cover Supervisor roles.
- Knowledge of curriculum and assessment frameworks KS3/KS4/KS5.
- Experience working with children within the last 2 years.
- Hold or be willing to obtain a current DBS registered with the update service.
- Two references related to working with children.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support students in a classroom setting, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.
- Assist teachers in delivering lessons and managing classroom activities
- Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging engagement and participation
- Provide support for students with additional needs, including autism
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding student progress and behaviour
- Mentor and tutor students to enhance their learning experience
