Job summary

Qualiteach Education Group is helping a mainstream secondary school in the London Borough of Haringey recruit a confident Cover Supervisor to support KS3 and KS4 classes. The role covers day-to-day supply and longer-term positions starting ASAP, delivering pre-set work and maintaining engagement.

The ideal candidate will have classroom management skills, reliable attendance and a DBS on the Update Service. This is a flexible opportunity with a focus on safeguarding and supporting student

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is required.
• Experience working with secondary school students and managing classroom behaviour would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students across KS3 and KS4 in the absence of the class teacher.
• Deliver pre-set work, maintain a positive learning environment and ensure students stay focused and engaged during lessons.
• Manage classroom behaviour, take registers and support safeguarding procedures.
