Job summary

Step Teachers Ltd is seeking a proactive Cover Supervisor for day-to-day supply roles across Camden Town and surrounding areas. You will supervise lessons, deliver pre-prepared plans, and support pupils in a varied primary/secondary setting.

Ideal candidates will have classroom management skills, experience with young people, and a willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check. Roles are paid weekly via PAYE with employee-focused benefits and ongoing support from our education recruitment team.

Qualifications

• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Experience working with young people in an educational setting is desirable.
• Ability to adapt to different subjects and school environments.
• Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Supervise classes during teacher absences and keep students on task.
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Manage behaviour in line with school policies.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and issues.
• Support the wider school community as needed.
