Job summary

Meridian Trust is seeking four Cover Supervisors to join a supportive, well-resourced team. The role involves supervising classes during short-term absences, engaging with students and contributing to learning standards across departments.

Two 35-hour patterns are available: Mon-Fri 08:00-15:30 or 08:30-16:00. The Trust offers CPD, ITT support, mental health resources, pension, parking, and other staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Good educational background with excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience of subject background and working within the education sector.
• Knowledge of using Microsoft Office and Email.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality cover during the short-term absence of class teachers.
• Engage with the class and contribute to raising standards across departments.
• Contribute to planning and evaluation of work set for covering lessons.
• Provide feedback on learning activities and contribute to development planning.
