Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is actively recruiting a Computing Teacher for a secondary school in Cheshire West. The role runs from January 2027 to April 2027, delivering Computing/Computer Science lessons and driving pupils' digital understanding.

The ideal candidate will hold QTS or an equivalent qualification, have strong Computing subject knowledge, and be capable of planning engaging theoretical and practical lessons for a diverse set of learners. This is a full-time, school-based vacancy.

Qualifications

• Must hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Computing in a secondary school.
• Available full-time from January to April 2027.
• Ability to deliver programming and computational thinking content.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Computing and Computer Science lessons.
• Develop pupils' understanding of digital technologies and computational thinking.
• Teach programming and problem-solving concepts.
• Support pupils with practical computing activities.
• Explain technical concepts clearly and accurately.
• Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Differentiate lessons for a range of abilities.
• Maintain positive classroom behaviour and productive learning.
• Collaborate with departmental colleagues.
