Job summary

The Ecclesbourne School in Duffield, Derbyshire, is seeking a Classroom Cover Supervisor to support our teaching staff and ensure continuity of learning. You will supervise classes during short-term absences and deliver pre-prepared lessons across KS3-4.

The successful candidate will have a good education, experience with young people, and strong behaviour management and organisational skills, with a commitment to safeguarding students.

Qualifications

• A good standard of education, ideally to degree level or equivalent.
• Previous experience of working with young people is highly desirable.
• The ability to manage behaviour firmly and fairly, with confidence and authority.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the resilience to adapt to different classroom situations.
• Excellent organisational skills and a proactive approach.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
