Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking reliable Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in the Havering area. Start date is immediate with ongoing short-term opportunities, ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, or education staff seeking classroom experience.

The role involves supervising classes during teacher absence, delivering pre-set lesson plans, and maintaining lesson flow while upholding school policies. DBS on Update Service preferred or willingness to apply.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with young people (school-based preferred).
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Confidence working across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Responsibilities

• Supervising classes during teacher absence.
• Delivering pre-set lesson plans and maintaining lesson flow.
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Ensuring a safe, focused, and positive learning environment.
• Providing feedback to teaching staff at the end of the lesson.
