Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a dedicated Childrens Support Worker in Llanelli to help children and young people with EBD/SEMH and trauma. The role offers day and night shifts on a full or part-time basis, with a child-centered ethos focused on safety, consistency and listening to children's wishes.

The successful candidate will have residential/care experience, be DBS checked or willing to apply, and be registered with Social Care Wales or willing to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in residential/care settings.
• DBS or willingness to apply.
• Registered with Social Care Wales or willingness to apply.
• Experience supporting young people with challenging behaviours or trauma.

Responsibilities

• Support children and young people with EBD/SEMH and trauma.
• Work on full and part-time basis with day and night shifts.
• Maintain a child-focused ethos, ensuring safety and continuity.
