Job summary

Rise Resourcing is recruiting a Buying Assistant for a well-established Midlands retailer based at their head office. You will support the Buying Team to help drive growth within the category in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will create new product listings, raise supplier invoices, collate promotional information, input supplier data, and work cross-functionally with Buying & logistics while liaising with internal teams and suppliers to optimise pricing and records.

Qualifications

• Experience within Buying or a relevant degree.
• Highly accurate with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage a varied workload with deadlines.
• Excellent communication at all levels.
• Degree is preferable.
• Excellent understanding of MS Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist Buying team to support growth in the category.
• Create new product listings on the system.
• Raise and input supplier invoices.
• Collate promotional information from suppliers for promotional packs.
• Collate and input supplier information.
• Coordinate with Buying & logistics to maintain relationships.
• Liaise with internal customers, suppliers and other departments.
• Review pricing and analyse figures in Excel.
• Maintain data records and files.
