Job summary

BFBS is recruiting an Assistant Management Accountant to join the Finance team. The role involves supporting month-end reporting, budgeting, variance analyses, and maintaining strong financial controls.

You will handle overseas data, intercompany reconciliations and Welfare Fund accounts while working across the organisation. The ideal candidate is part-qualified (AAT/ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or actively studying, with a solid grasp of accounting principles and the ability to explain financial information

Qualifications

Part-qualified in AAT, ACCA, CIMA, ACA or actively studying towards one of these.
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and ability to explain financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
Experience with month-end reporting and internal controls a plus.

Responsibilities

Support monthly management accounts including journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
Prepare variance analysis and support P&L reviews with business teams.
Process monthly financial data for overseas operations and intercompany transactions.
Maintain Welfare Fund accounts and report project expenditure against budgets.
Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns and assist with year-end close and audits.
