Orchard Care Homes Ltd. is seeking an energetic Activities Co-ordinator for Millfield Nursing Home in Bolsover, Derbyshire. The role involves creating engaging daily activities, social events, and community links to support residents’ wellbeing.

You will coordinate in-house and external activities, manage records, and help promote the home within the local community. 30 hours per week at £12.21 per hour. Training and development available.

Responsibilities

• Plan and gain approval for a varied programme of events with care staff and relatives.
• Run all events on the programme, prioritising safety, comfort and enjoyment.
• accompany people on outings with care staff and ensure mobility safety.
• Keep records of finances for the programme, assist in fundraising and manage equipment supplies.
• Organise regular visits from Ministers of religious denominations and arrange transport to services.
